Before birth: His mother was a half-clan, half-kittypet cat who had a relationship with a sphynx kittypet in the Twolegplace across Leafclan's territory. They got separated after she was pregnant, and was left to raise her kits with the help of the clan. She never told anyone who the father, but there was suspicion when one of her kits turned out not to have any fur.
Kithood: He was slightly ostrasized by a few apprentices and warriors for his roots, otherwise well-accepted. Had one sibling, a she-cat named Driftkit, who was not hairless, instead inheriting her mother's long coat. He had a good relationship with her, and sometimes was slightly jelous of her fur. His sister was sometimes jelous of his lack of fur on especially hot days. Was teased by some of the younger apprentices for his lack of fur.
Apprentice: Always very good at fighting, and picked up moves quickly. His sister, however was always better at hunting, while he was only okay. He and his sister worked together to get hunting moves and battle moves down. His mentor taught him to be quick and adopt an extremely threatening pose when attacking another cat to make up for his lack of fur, which he would have been able to fluff up to look bigger.
Young warrior: He was mostly sent on patrols, his occasional hunts were not always very successful. He worked on his hunting skills in private or with his sister, however. He helped his sister with her battle skills in return. Was assigned an apprentice named Smokepaw.
Senior warrior: He is a very good fighter - good hunter, still not as good as his sister, however. He still has a very good relationship with his sister - she is his closest friend. He doesn't talk to his mother except as a normal warrior. His former apprentice, Smokeriver, is still a good friend of his.

Roleplay sample: Ebonystar looked quietly at his bustling clan from where he sat next to his sister. He took a careful bite of fish and glanced over to his sister. 
    "How've you been?" He asked her casually, looking at the large fish she was eating - she had caught it earlier, and though it wasn't the biggest he had ever seen, it was still impressive.
    "Good, you?" She looked over to him when she asked, a smile in her eyes.
    "Good." Ebony replied, resuming watching the movements of the cats in front of him. His tail was still, as was Driftthorn's. The two sat in companionable silence until they finished their fish.
